In commemoration of Bahrain’s 48thNational Day, MODA Mall is set to make splash with a cultural showcase filled withfestivities galore, from 14th-17thDecember. It’s a celebration that brings to life culture and tradition, through the nation’s relationship with the sea, it’s authentic music, storytelling and more.
This four-day spectacle would set the stage for a hostof must-see activities, along with a magnificent traditional wooden dhow boat seen as its centrepiece. Visitors can witness the beautiful craftsmanship of local artisans with basket weaving, while also taking on an exciting treasure hunt, an experience that involves participants in the search of precious pearls hidden inside a collection of oysters.
Adding colour to the festivities, accomplished artists known for their distinctive art and creative style, Ebrahim Busaad, Nasser Al Yousif, Mayasa Al Sowaidiand Tariq Yousif Qassim, are to exhibit their beautiful artworks showcasing Bahrain’s colourful heritage.
Visitors will also be taken on a lyrical voyage with traditional musical and song by the Mohammed Bin Fares Band.A live performance by another local band has also been lined-up to showcase the authentic Bahraini music.
There’s fun for the little ones too with activities such as Arabic storytelling by Bahrain’s favourite ‘Baba Yasin’ in store on December 14th, as he shares delightful stories about the Kingdom in a unique style. An interactive fun zone featuring an array of traditional and modern educational activities including board games, play stations and more are also on offer.
