AKS was founded in 2013 by Bahraini sisters, Amna and Asma Khaled Saif. Both sisters are self-taught with a passion for the French Art Deco era, from architecture to urban landscaping. Those details reflect through all their collections through the construction or deconstruction of garments. They have successfully mixed two distinct personalities (portraying both sisters) in their brand DNA: the classic tailored wardrobe infused with wrapped, knotted and oversized pieces from the urban, street wear wardrobe.
