Visit Bahrain / Bahrain Tourism

Small in size but large in reputation, Bahrain is a land of welcoming hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere.

Boasting three UNESCO World Heritage sites (the Dilmun Burial Mounds, the Bahrain Fort and the Pearling Trail), Bahrain certainly has an intriguing past but is firmly looking to the future; in one day visitors can be taken on a journey from Bronze Age archaeological remains to the ultimate symbol of the 21st century – the Bahrain World Trade Center.

Bahrain offers a wealth of experiences. Visitors can get happily lost in the maze of streets that make up one of the traditional souks, soaking up the heady scents and atmosphere where rich fabrics, spices, gold jewellery, oils and perfumes are sold. Cosmopolitan areas such as Adliya are a delight for foodies and socialites, as they explore the cool café culture, boutique restaurants and exciting nightlife. There is also a growing art scene, international cultural events, and museums and galleries galore. And for the sports fans there are golf courses, go-karting, sailing and diving experiences and even indoor skydiving.
